Kevin Kruger has landed another player out of the transfer portal. Former Ole Miss guard Luis Rodriguez is headed to Las Vegas.
Rodriguez played 26.9 minutes per game for the Rebels last season while averaging 6.6 points and 5.5 rebounds.
In his four seasons at Ole Miss, Rodriguez averaged 5.3 points. He has not shown a great three point shot, hitting just 29.9 percent of his triples.
Evan Miya ranks Rodriguez as the 48th best player in the transfer portal. Last season his points above replacement according to Bart Torvik was 1.1.
Miya also ranked Rodriguez as the best defensive player for the Rebels last season.
UNLV has grabbed four players out of the transfer portal this offseason, as Rodriguez joins Jackie Johnson, Elijah Parquet and Elijah Harkless.
