KyeRon Lindsay commits to UNLV

Kevin Kruger has landed his first high school recruit, as KyeRon Lindsay is headed to Vegas.

Lindsay is ranked as the 88th best player in the class of 2022. His top eight schools included Oklahoma State, Georgia, TCU, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Arkansas, Tulsa and UNLV.

According to 247 Sports, Lindsay took an official visit to UNLV last week. He had another scheduled with Tennessee, but canceled it and committed to the Rebels.

The 6-foot-8 forward is the first player Kruger has landed in the 2022 class. The Rebels went heavy in the transfer market this offseason, so there is just one freshman on this season’s roster. Lindsay should help balance out the class distribution on the roster.

With the new transfer rules, college coaches can roster build with transfers every year. But taking a top 100 player will always be a no brainer for UNLV.
