The Kevin Kruger era will begin with Gardner Webb.
The Gardner Webb Bulldogs released their non-conference schedule for the upcoming season and it included a November 10th game in Vegas against the Rebels.
Gardner Webb went 11-15 last season including a 10-10 mark in Big South play. The Bulldogs ranked 182nd in Ken Pom, just behind the 175th ranked UNLV.
So this game should be a win for UNLV, but is certainly not a bottom feeder of college basketball. Last season was just the second time Gardner Webb has finished below .500 in the last nine seasons.
November 9th is the first day of the college basketball season. UNLV will be getting the season started a day later on a Wednesday.
The Rebels now have eight games scheduled for the upcoming season, with four at home, two at T-Mobile Arena and two on the road.
November 10: Gardner Webb
November 13: Cal
November 19: Michigan (T-Mobile Arena)
November 21: Arizona or Wichita State (T-Mobile Arena)
December 4: at San Francisco
December 15: Omaha
TBA: at SMU
TBA: UCLA
Truly believe that UNLV will SHOCK the nation in basketball.
I love Kruger’s roster.
